Speed-to-lead has a reputation problem, and it earned it: the same machinery that calls back a real enquiry in a minute can spam a purchased list in an afternoon. Engageify is built so it can’t.
Every call is a call somebody asked for
Engageify calls people who just submitted a form asking your business to contact them. That is the entire universe of people we call. The platform has no import screen, no CSV path, no list-upload API — a purchased or scraped list cannot physically enter the system. This is not a policy we promise to follow; it is an ingestion path that does not exist.
Consent is a database column, not a paragraph
A lead row cannot be created without its consent record: the source URL of the form, the timestamp of the submission, and a plain-words note of what happened. The columns are NOT NULL — the software refuses the row, whoever asks.
Calling hours run on the lead's clock
Calls happen between 9am and 8pm in the lead's own timezone — a narrower window than federal rules require, so an error in clock math never lands a call at the legal boundary. Retries decay: quick first, patient after, capped at a handful, and clamped inside the same window.
Do-not-call is permanent and instant
The agent itself carries a do-not-call tool. One sentence from a lead marks the number forever, mid-call. The mark survives re-submissions of the form, and it applies to our own demo line with no exception.
The agent tells the truth about being automated
Asked whether it is a person, a bot, or a recording, the agent answers honestly, once, and keeps helping. It never claims to be human. Detected answering machines are hung up on, not pitched.
Transcripts, not recordings
Calls become searchable transcripts and structured briefs. Voices are not retained by default.
